PRIVACY POLICY

 

PIAPARIS attaches great importance to the protection of personal data. In accordance with Law No. 1.165 of December 23, 1993, on the protection of personal data, you will find below a description of how your data is processed, an explanation of your rights regarding your personal data, and our cookie policy.

  1. Processing of personal data

The data controller is the Monegasque company APM MONACO SAM (hereinafter “PIAPARIS”), registered in the Trade and Industry Register under number 97S03369, located at 3, rue de l'Industrie– 98 000 MONACO.

       2.Purpose of processing (purpose and legal basis)

As part of its online sales website, PIAPARIS processes personal data for the following purposes:

- To carry out customer management operations relating to the creation of customer accounts; contracts; orders; deliveries; invoices; accounting and, in particular, customer account management; loyalty programs within one or more legal entities, excluding programs shared by several companies; customer relationship management, such as conducting satisfaction surveys and managing after-sales service complaints.

- Carrying out prospecting-related operations;

- Compiling audience measurement statistics;

- Managing requests for access, rectification, and opposition rights;

- Managing people's opinions on products, services, or content.

The legal grounds for processing are as follows:

 

       3.Data categories and retention periods

PIAPARIS processes the following personal information:

  • Identity, address, and contact details: title, last name, first name, address, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number.

This information is retained until the account is deactivated or after 3 years of inactivity.

  • Order data: transaction number, purchase details, purchase amount, purchase history, invoice payment data, product returns.

This information is retained until the account is deactivated or after 3 years of inactivity. However, invoices are retained for 10 years in accordance with legal requirements.

  • Payment method details: credit card number, credit card expiry date, security code (which is immediately deleted).

This data is not stored by PIAPARIS.

  • Cookies: 13 months.

       4. Recipients of the data

The following are the sole recipients of the information within the limits of their respective responsibilities:

  • public bodies, exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations;
  • court officers and bailiffs in the context of their debt collection activities;
  • financial institutions and account-holding professionals;
  • the payment service provider and the delivery service provider.

       5. Transfer to a country that does not provide an adequate level of protection

We inform you that your personal data may be transferred to countries that do not have an adequate level of protection, as their level of protection is not equivalent to that provided for by Monegasque law. Countries whose level of protection is considered adequate are listed on the website of the Commission de Contrôle des Informations Nominatives (Personal Data Control Commission).

Please note that for transfers to countries whose protection is not considered adequate, we rely either on a legal exemption listed in Article 20-1 of Law 1.165, applicable to the situation, and/or on the implementation of one of the appropriate safeguards, recognized by the Commission for the Control of Personal Information and after authorization issued by the latter, to ensure the protection of your personal data.

To obtain a copy of these security measures or to find out how to access them, you may send a written request in accordance with Section B herein.

The transfers concerned are described below:

       1.a) Transfer for customer relationship management purposes of personal data from customer files to the parent company based in Hong Kong, whose servers are located in Singapore

The following information is concerned :

  • Identity, address, and contact details: title, last name, first name, address, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number
  • Order data: transaction number, purchase details, purchase amount, purchase history, invoice payment data, product returns.

       1.b) Transfer of personal data from the APM website to Shopify Inc. servers in the United States for hosting purposes.

The apm.mc website is hosted by Shopify Inc., whose servers are located in the United States, which means that your personal information will be transferred to the United States.

The following information is concerned:

  • Identity, address, and contact details: title, last name, first name, address, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number;
  • Order data: transaction number, purchase details, purchase amount, purchase history, invoice payment data, product returns.

        1.c) Transfer of data for statistical purposes from Google Analytics to Google Inc. based in the United States

The transfer concerns “Google Analytics” cookies to the company operating this module, namely Google Inc., based in Mountain View (United States). You will find a more detailed description of this transfer in section C “Cookie Policy” below.
